Summer Cardigan

I knit this cardigan.

That’s me.

But, actually, this is for my mother and this is my mother.

So, I experienced knitting a summer cardigan like this now.

Then, I will start to knit MY cardigan tomorrow

That is a very interesting design! It looks like a jacket I used to sew where a rectangle of cloth is folded up so the only seams are from each shoulder and down the top of the arms to the wrists. Very nice.

    Thanks, Tess!
It is very popular design as a cardigan in Japan and we call it “Marguerite”. And, you’re right, I did almost the same thing with 2 sticks what you did for your jacket.
It is easy to make but comfortable to wear, isn’t it?
I really enjoyed both making and wearing it!

I found your site on technorati and read a few of your other posts. Keep up the good work. I just added your RSS feed to my Google News Reader. Looking forward to reading more from you down the road!

    Alex, thank you so much!
I was so happy to hear that you enjoyed my blog.
Unfortunately, August is busier mouth than others in Japan, and I couldn’t find enough time to write something in English. I need a long and relaxed time for it.
    But! I’ll be back!
Please be patient and give me, ah …. I hope it’ll be a few days.
