That is a very interesting design! It looks like a jacket I used to sew where a rectangle of cloth is folded up so the only seams are from each shoulder and down the top of the arms to the wrists. Very nice.

It is very popular design as a cardigan in Japan and we call it “Marguerite”. And, you’re right, I did almost the same thing with 2 sticks what you did for your jacket.
It is easy to make but comfortable to wear, isn’t it?
